Just a reminder about the election candidate debate happening this Monday 13 October! Details are:
On Monday 13 October at 6pm the Debating Society in association with AUSA has organised an Auckland Central election debate.
The debate be held in Clocktower 039, near the General Library. Speakers include Judith Tizardfrom Labour, National's Nikki Kaye, Denise Roche of the Green Party, and Aaron Galey-Young representing United Future. The chair of the debate will be Raymond Miller from the Political Studies Department.
This will be a great chance for you (especially if you're in the Auckland Central electorate) to hear the candidates speak, and a good opportunity to think about the key issues in the upcoming election! Questions are encouraged afterwards, and everything should be wrapped up by 8pm. Max Harris - the Club Vice-President - will be opening the event, and there is a large debsoc contingent attending already - so come along!
