There are two things to report on today:
1. Worlds Update:
The Opening Night Function at Cork Worlds 2009 has just concluded and it sounds like excitement and anticipation is building.

Be sure to check it out. First results should be up in less than 24 hours now.
2. Debsoc Needs You!
Those of you at the AGM in 2008 will know that the 2009 Exec has big plans for Debsoc next year. In furtherance of those goals we have a number of active projects underway and we're looking for a couple of skilled volunteers to help us make things happen. In particular we're looking for:
1) Anyone with graphic design experience. We're purchasing a new set of banners and posters in 2009 and want these to look as good as possible.
2) Anyone with HTML/PHP/Web coding experience. We're looking at a few enhancements to the website and anyone who can give me a hand with some of the coding would be appreciated.
Each job is probably no more than ten hours work altogether and would go a long way to easing our workload as we're busy getting a bunch of other stuff underway as well.
